ABOUT US

ASTORIA ART CENTER is a not-for-profit space created to showcase the talent of local artists. Our goal is to display the voice and imagination of the community. We celebrate all artistic styles, from traditional, representational works to expressive, imaginative dreamscapes. Our group and solo exhibitions will show 2D and 3D work as well as moving images and more. As a community center, we do not take a percentage of any work an artist sells in the space. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

 

Four private, ventilated painting/drawing studios are available to RENT right now. Renters will enjoy access to the main gallery space to work. Classes for all ages and skill levels will be scheduled regularly, as well as inspiring lectures on history and personal artistic exploration.

 

ASTORIA ART CENTER promises to be a community of artists of all backgrounds working and studying in an environment where creatives can critique and inspire each other. We provide a space for the public to browse the visions of local artists and experience the imagination of the community. We want to see your unique perspective.
